Luang Prabang – Full day city tour

  Visit Royal Palace Museum, see Wat Xieng Thong, come to Wat Mai and Wat Visoun, go to Arts and Ethnology Centre, tour the weaving village, come to Mt Phousi

After having breakfast we will start our departure to the Royal Palace Museum to see many interesting artifacts. Then join a temple tour through Wat Xiengthong with classical Luang Prabang style, as well as Wat Mai and Wat Visoun, known as ‘The Water Melon Stupa’ due to its shape. The Arts and Ethnology Centre will be the next stop in the afternoon. Tourists can get an insight into the ethnic mix and culture of Laos. Then head to the weaving and textile villages of Ban Xangkhong and Ban Xienglek to get more knowledge about the traditional work of local people. The final stop of the day is Mt Phousi, where you can enjoy a sunset view and the beauty over Luang Prabang and the Mekong River. Meals on your own. Stay overnight in Luang Prabang.

Luang Prabang - Big Brother Mouse – Ban Khia Luang – Pak Ou Cave

  Visit the Big Brother Mouse shop, drop by Ban Khia Luang village, come to a local school, explore the local temple, enjoy traditional foods, drive to Ban Khoklin, cruise to Pak Ou caves, head to Ban Chan village

In the morning, we will go to the Big Brother Mouse shop and buy some books for the village visit. Then we should head north by car before getting into an unpaved road towards Ban Khia Luang village. Go to visit the school and play with the kids, watching them enjoy new books. Tourists can also explore the rest of the village to see weaving process and visit local temple. We will have lunch at the village with either Western foods or traditional Laos foods. In the afternoon, we leave the village and drive to Ban Khoklin which offers us many beautiful sceneries. Board a private boat down the Nam Ou River for 30 minutes to explore Pak Ou Caves. Continue down the Mekong River to the village of Ban Chan, a pottery village. Then return Luang Prabang by late afternoon. Meals on your own. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Luang Prabang – Vientiane – Half day city tour

  Fly to Vientiane, transfer to hotel, visit Wat Sisaket and Wat Prakeo, tour That Luang Stupa, see Patuxay Monument, come to the COPE exhibition centre

This morning you will get into the flight to Vientiane. On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. The half day city tour will begin with a visit to the oldest temple Wat Sisaket where possesses thousands of Buddha statues and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo. Go to the national precious heritage of That Luang Stupa where you are able to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument. Our final stop of the day will be the COPE exhibition centre, where you can take a deep look into Laos’ history. Transfer back to your hotel. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Vientiane – Pakse – Khong Island

  Fly to Pakse, transfer to a traditional boat, cruise to Champassak, head to Wat Phou, drive to Don Khong, visit the ruin temples

You will take a early flight head to Pakse. On arriving you will be transferred directly onto a private traditional boat and head to Champassak in a 2-hour cruise. Disembark at this ancient town and continue to Wat Phou by car. Wat Phou is another World Heritage Site in Laos which were once part of an ancient temple. In the afternoon you will drive to Don Khong - the area of 4000 islands. It is also famous for the endangered Irrawaddy dolphins. Finally, we come to the atmospheric ruins of the Khmer temple of Oup Mong at Ban Houei Tomo, located in the forest. Reach Khong Island via ferry early in the evening. Meals on your own. Khong Island – Surrounding

  Explore the countryside, go to Don Khone, visit Liphi Waterfall, discover Khone Phapheng, back to Khong Island

After having breakfast, we will enjoy a visit to the surrounding countryside. Then embark on a long tail boat tour to Don Khone. When reaching Don Khone, tourists can explore the island by bike and go to the remains of the French period and Liphi Waterfall. Return to the mainland at the fishing village of Ban Nakasang and drive southwards to visit Khone Phapheng. This is the largest waterfall in South East Asia. At the end of the day, we will drive back to Khong Island. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Khong Island - Tadlo – Pakse

  Go to Bolaven Plateau, visit Houey Ten, stop at Tad Fan Waterfall, see coffee plantation, tour Tha Teng Market, explore Ban Bong Neua village, relax at Tadlo Waterfall, back to Pakse

Today you will be taken to the east into the Bolaven Plateau which is located high above the Meong Valley. Our first stop is Houey Ten, a Katu village specializing in knife making. Followed by a visit of Tad Fan Waterfall, a picturesque twin chute waterfall. Then make a stop at a coffee plantation, tour the Tha Teng Market, a colorful ethnic minority food market. Next, we come to a minority village, Ban Bong Neua and explore people’s life there. In the afternoon, go to the Tadlo Waterfall and relax in the pools. Head back to Pakse. On the way we will stop at Ban Houi Hun, an Alak weaving village, and at another picturesque waterfall, Paxuam, before arriving back in Pakse by late afternoon. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
