Biking tour and exploring villages

Start our departure by a bike tour from LuangPrabang in the morning. Havea short visit to the Wat Pa Phon Phao which is just 3km to the north-east from the city and is a quiet monastery with a golden stupa. Then continue to Ban Phanom village where you can see cotton and silk hand-weaving process. The next stop will be set in the grave of Henri Mouhot.This tomb is tucked away in the jungle but well-worth a trip, where inters apopularized French discoverer of the Angkor Ruins. After that, we head to Elephant village along a dusty road. Have a view of the jungle and towering rock face while having lunch. Prepare for the next leg of the tour with a walking trip. Pass through the green paddy fields and terraced slopes toward the peaceful villages. Explore the life of inhabitants in Lao Tung village. Reach the home stay in the late afternoon.

Trekking through countryside

Today will start with some trekking. You will be able to view the serenity of the isolated villages as well as learn about the local people’s activities. Let your curiosity deepen with the charisma of countryside where foreigners are still considered as a novelty. In the afternoon, we continue to visit a Khamu village where we will rest for the night.

Elephant riding and kayaking

After having breakfast,we proceed to the protected Asian Elephants and learn a bit about these amazing animals. Enjoy a relaxing elephant-ride at the Elephant Village for about half an hour. You then will be taken into the countryside tohang out, have lunch and enjoy the unique scenery of natural beauty. The last highlight on this tour is a water excursion along Nam Khan River with a kayak. Take this easy trip of kayaking to paddle and view the beautiful sights on the riverside. Pass through the Lao Loum and Theung villages and interact with the friendly inhabitants. After 3 to 4 hours of paddling, we will reach LuangPrabang in the afternoon.
