Today we take a scenic drive to visit the temple ruins of Wat Phou, one of Lao’s only two UNESCO World Heritage sites. After lunch, cross Me kong river by ferry boat to visit the spectacular waterfall of Khone Phapeng - the largest in South East Asia, also known as the 'Niagara of the east'. Next up, we hit Don Khone and re-trace the French colonial times here on a bike (or tuktuk) tour, passing many remnants (old pier, stream railway, French villas). The final leg of today’s journey leads us to the gorgeous Liphi waterfal, a must-see for waterfall-lovers before heading back to Don Khong for an overnight stay.

This morning making our way towards Bolevean Plateau, known for its cool temperature, rich coffee and dramatic waterfalls, we visit Tad Fan-the most beautiful in the area. In the afternoon we arrive at Tad Lo, home to another scenic waterfall and many ethnic minority groups. We trek to the villages of Alak, Nge, and Katu before returning to Pakse. Overnight in Pakse.
Today our vehicle will transfer you back to the airport for departure flight. Meals on your own. End of services.
