We rise early to join in the daily morning rituals of alms-giving before go shopping at the bustling morning market. Then take a scenic drive to the impressive Kuangsi waterfalls, stop by to ethnic minority villages. This three-tier falls cascade into many turquoise pools, which are perfect for a refreshing swim. Transfer back your hotel in the afternoon. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, we take a boat trip upstream the Mekong River to visit the mysterious "Pak Ou" Caves-where thousands of miniature Buddha sculptures, brought here by the locals over a long time ago, line up over the wall shelves.
On our way back, make a stop at Ban Xang Hai, also known as “Whiskey village”, and a local silk and cotton hand-weaving local village. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

We proceed to the Elephant Village Camp to experience riding an elephant in a teak wood chair cross river, jungle and village gardens. Next up we’ll trek to Tad Sae waterfall to relax and have a picnic lunch.
We’ll then traverse the Nam Khan river in a traditional Lao long boat from the waterfall back to the elephant camp and then back to town. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
