Today you continue to explore Vientiane by visiting Vat Sisaket, the oldest surviving temple in town; Hophrakeo, the former royal temple, now a museum with beautiful examples of Buddhist sculpture; Victory gate and the morning market. In the afternoon, you will see the procession of Pasat Pheung (the bee castles) which starts from Vat Nong Bone in the compound of That Luang Stupa. Then see different groups of pilgrims, local people wearing traditional styles of various ethnic groups, exploring the different handicraft stalls of the festival. Meals on your own. In the early morning, you will watch the big alms-giving ceremony (Tak Bat) at the compound of That Luang Stupa attended by thousands of Monks from different provinces.
Afterthat transfer to the airport for flight to Luang Prabang. In the afternoon, you will explore Luang Prabang by a city tour visiting Vat Vixoun, Vat Aham, then on Phousy hill to view the sunset over Luang Prabang. Meals on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Continue to explore Luang Prabang town, you will pay a visit to Vat Xieng Thong (the most beautiful temple in the city, built in 1560), noted for its impressive sweeping roof. Then take traditional boat trip upstream on the Mekong river to visit the famous Pak Ou Caves (Tham Thing and Tham Phum) which houses thousands of Buddha statues since the 16th century, the caves were found by King Setthathirath. Have pinic lunch at bamboo cottage on the beautiful scenic river at the confluence between the Mekong & Ou rivers.
Return to Luang Prabang then transfer by car to visit the well known weaving village Ban Phanom. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.
