You will be transferred from Vientiane airport to hotel. We start our first day with a visit to That Luong Stupa – the World Heritage, then visit Patuxay Monument. The name Patuxay means "Victory gate" also known as Anousavary monument. Its architecture simulates the Arc de Triomphe in Paris but still brings Laos unique cultural identities. This is the monument to honor the soldiers who fought in the war against France in the center of Vientiane. Next we go shopping to buy Lao products at Morning Market. Enjoy dinner at Phatoke Laoderm Restaurant with Lao Traditional Show. Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, our city tour continues with a visit to Hoprakeo – an ancient temple located in the center of Vientiane. This temple was built in 1565, displaying many Buddha Statues. Then we will visit Sisaket pagoda attracting tourists with more than 10 thousands of Buddha Statues around. The most gorgeous temple in Vientiane is That Luang Stupa Museum which is the World Heritage and the national symbol of Laos – the country of Theravada Buddhism. After lunch, we move to the Buddha Park which’s well-known for a large number of Buddha statues with different faces and postures made of cement. The mixture of Hinduism, Buddhism together with the deities in the Ramayana epic such as Shiva, Visnu, Rama, and Sita creates sacred and lively space. After breakfast, we visit Si Muang Temple which is the most visited temple in Vientiane. This temple attracts tourists for its story than for its architecture. There are different legends but it is a sure that Simuang is the name of a pregnant woman sacrificing to gods to make the main pillar of the temple. Its structure consists of a main temple to worship Buddha and a region to worship the Mother Si Muong. There are many statues in the campus, the most outstanding is Shakyamuni Buddha statue placed under Bodhi tree. Then we visit President Kaysone Phomevihane Memorial Museum. This museum was built to honor President Kaysone Phomvihane who is Lao’s great revolutionary leader. The exterior is designed in traditional Lao style but the interior layout is the same as that of the Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hanoi. There are two floors: the upper floor displays photos about his life and the Lao revolutionary history. The lower floor comprises meeting rooms and a shop selling books and souvenirs.
