Right after landing on Noi Bai Airport, you are picked up and transferred to hotel. In the morning leave Hanoi for Halong Bay, arriving around noon. Board a traditional wooden junk and begin your exploration of magical Halong Bay, one of Southeast Asia’s premier tourist destinations. After breakfast on board and some relaxing, we keep cruising on the bay. Back to the pier and disembark at around noon. Today we depart from Ho Chi Minh City to explore Mekong Delta. Arrival in Phong Nam Pier, we will cruise along An Hoa River, visit charcoal workshop, coconut-processing workshop. Stop at brickwork to see how to make bricks in handy traditional style by printing and baking and visit rice paper cake workshop. Turn on natural scissors creeks where they look smaller and smaller to go to village. Stop at candy workshop, have a look and try some. Take a walk to family workshop making sleep mats. Take a tuk tuk on shady paths, pass by green rice fields and vegetable plains. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, take rowing boat along water palm creek and boat back to Hung Vuong Pier. Compared to other bustling capitals in Southeast Asia, Vientian has the feel of a small, relaxing town with faded colonial mansions, tree-lined boulevards devoid of traffic, old temples and monasteries. A sightseeing tour presents an orientation of this charming capital city of Laos: Ho Pha Keo, the former royal temple, now a museum with beautiful examples of Buddhist sculpture; Wat Si Saket; oldest surviving temple in town ; Pha That Luang, a gilded Buddhist stupa also the national symbol; Patuxai, Vientiane’s own Arc de Triomphe. Vientiane - Vang Vieng

After breakfast, we drive north to Vang Vieng through beautiful landscapes and mountain ranges. We make some stops along the way at the Hmong Market to see how the locals going about their daily lives; Vang Xang, an archaeological site from the Mon-Khmer period (8-11 century) and some ethnic minority villages of the Lao Lum. Lunch at the Organic Farm where you can eat traditional Lao food and sample some roasted goat cheese and mulberry wine.Upon arriving in Vang Vieng, we will visit the famous Than Jang Cave, once used by local people as a hideout from Chinese invaders. The rest of the afternoon is free to explore Vang Vieng by foot or bicycle, take a boat ride up river or just relax by the pool at your hotel. Dinner on your own. Overnight in Vang Vieng.

Vang Vieng - Luang Prabang

This morning we drive further into the mountains passing spectacular scenery and numerous hill tribe villages. We will lunch at an altitude of approximately 1,300 meters above sea level surrounded by the endless mountain peaks of this remote region. After lunch we continue on along Route 13 stopping for photo opportunities and arriving in Luang Prabang early evening. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Luang Prabang, once a capital city of Laos kingdom, now a UNESCO World Heritage site is a remarkably well-preserved town, where Laos traditional architecture and Frech-infused style blend perfectly. Set on a city bike tour to cover some of the biggest highlights the city has to offer: the Royal Palace, a one-time home of the royal family and now a national museum; Wat Mai, the largest and most photographed temple in town; Wat Xiang Thong- noted for its impressive sweeping roof; and if time permits, the stupa of WatVisoun and the shrine of WatAham. Luang Prabang - Kuang Si Falls - Pak Ou Caves

This morning we drive to KuangSii Waterfall stopping along the way to visit the morning Phousi Market, this where all locals of Luang Prabang come to do their daily shopping. You will see a variety of local foodstuffs and products including dried buffalo skin, local tea and saltpeter among the chickens, fish, vegetables and fruit, everything needed for daily life in Laos. On arrival at the KuangSii Falls you will have the opportunity to cool off with a refreshing swim in the topaz pools below the falls, walk along the forest trails and visit the Bear Sanctuary. You will also enjoy a Picnic lunch below the falls. Upon return to Luang Prabang we board our private boat for a pleasant and scenic cruise up on the Mekong River to the mysterious Pak Ou Caves. These caves are an ancient pilgrimage site and contain thousands of gold lacquered Buddha images left there over hundreds of years. Returning to Luang Prabang we disembark our boat and have the option of taking a short drive to Ban Phanom, a village famous for its hand weaving or returning to the hotel for free time to relax.
